APPROACHES AND METHODOLOGIES
This section is a summary of the more innovative methods which have emerged in recent years. It will encourage you to look at these methods in order to evaluate whether any of the ideas could be adapted to suit your teaching situations. It is not prescribing one method, but proposing an eclectic approach where you can take what is useful for you and your learners from the various methods outlined. You will no doubt find similarities in the way you were taught at various points. Each section will include a page for you to make notes about anything you think could be useful. An Approach is a description of the theories which help us understand how learning takes place. A Method explains what the classroom procedures and techniques will be.
